This hotel is a hidden gem. the prices are very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Secondly, the attention to detail is impressive, with the rooms providing a great view of the surroundings. Lastly, the hotel is in a quiet location but only a few minutes away from the vibrant city center, making it a perfect choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat without compromising on convenience.
Everything was great and there is nothing significant to be improved upon.

After a hard day of hiking we were keen to find the hotel and relax there.
The shared bathroom facitlites were very poor at the Waldrand. The bathroom was unclean with mildew (mould) present in the shower. There was no soap in the bathroom or toilet. The towels were very small and well worn. Some of the lightbulbs were defective. WIFI was not free and after using the service for 10 seconds in the hotel reception area the service did not work in the bedroom area. The rating of a 3-star hotel was questionable based on our experience.

We enjoyed our romantic escape to this small and child-friendly hotel. the view from our room's terrace was stunning, and the fresh continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. the hotel's location, slightly away from the village centre, ensured a good night's sleep without interruption from the church bells. We also appreciated the hotel's efforts to support our outdoor activities with reduced-price tickets for the cableways.
The quality of the soap provided in the bathroom. the WiFi was inadequate and not accessible from our room.

always Friendly welcome. Family atmosphere. Abundant breakfast. Very good food. Pleasant outdoor terrace.
The weather was cooler than usual and I was cold in my room, but was offered a small electric radiator when I mentioned it to the owner.

Recently refurbished room with a large balcony. Impressive breakfast buffet.
The Waldrand is a little way out from the centre of town but Lenk is pretty small so it was only actually about 10 mins walk.

Great location close to the center and mountain lifts. Breakfast was a nice continental offering. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
The rooms could use better sound isolation and pillows. One room had an automatic light that went on and off with no explanation.

The Hotel Waldrand is a hidden gem in the heart of the mountains. The cozy double room with its breathtaking mountain view made our stay absolutely delightful. The recently renovated shared shower room, complete with radiant heat flooring and rain shower heads, was a luxurious touch. The half board rate, which included dinner and breakfast, was a great value for money. The candlelit dinner and the delicious multi-course vegetarian meal provided a memorable dining experience. The homemade breads, preserves, and local cheeses at breakfast were a delightful treat. the hotel perfectly blends historic charm with modern comforts.
All was perfect, nothing to improve.

We loved Lenk and Hotel Waldrand made it even better! The service was very helpful and nice. Any requests or inquires we had, were all thoroughly answered. The view from our deck was amazing and the hotel is in a great spot. The room was very clean, the water pressure was amazing. Overall, the room could have benefited from some personality...like paintings/decorations. Great location: Walkable to the small town of Lenk.
The only thing that bothered us were the flies in the breakfast room.

We had a fantastic stay in a charming hotel set in a peaceful location close to the town center. Our room was comfortable, with an updated bathroom, and it had a great view of the mountains. the staff was welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was superb, with homemade yogurt and plenty of local cheese and meat options. the hotel's garden was a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a drink. We also appreciated the hotel's proximity to the area's outdoor activities and the larger Adelboden-Lenk area.
The WiFi signal was a bit weak in some areas of the hotel.
